Springridge farm was purchased in 1960 by the Hughes family who still work on the farm now. They initially grew fifty acres of sour cherries. The farm opened to the public to ‘pick-your-own cherries’ in 1974 as a summer project. The family discovered people were more interested in seeing 19th century bank barn. From this point Springridge began to grow as a business to become the successful farm it is today.
The farm is the perfect activity for you and your family. It has plenty of fun and educational activities for the kids to get stuck in to. The farm is open daily from April to October and is a very affordable price. Springridge also hosts seasonal events to help you celebrate holidays the right way.
